In-Person Conference FAQs

The in-person 2024 RULER Implementation Conference is designed for leaders and educators in schools that have attended RULER training and are implementing RULER. Speakers/topics will assume attendees are familiar with RULER skills, tools, and principles, as well as their application to staff development, student learning, and family engagement.

Attendees can expect to interact with and hear from other leaders in the field of social and emotional learning and seasoned RULER practitioners. 

Conference sessions will be recorded and available on demand to attendees up to three months after the event on the Whova platform. Attendees will be able to access session recordings and presenter handouts using their Whova accounts, which will be available upon registration. Tickets can be purchased via credit card or purchase order (PO). If you are paying by PO, payment is due within 30 days of receiving your invoice. If you need to make alternative payment arrangements, please contact rulerinvoicing@yale.edu.

$500 per attendee from schools with an active RULER subscription or training package.

$575 per attendee from RULER-trained schools without a RULER subscription. You can check on your school’s subscription or training package status by emailing rulersubscription@yale.edu. Learn more about subscribing here 

The event fee that is added onto your total at checkout includes fees associated with credit card processing and platform usage.

To access and attend the conference, you will need to create a Whova account via the email address with which you purchased your ticket. After signing in either from a mobile device or desktop, you can view the conference sessions (on or after April 1, 2024) For detailed instructions on how to sign in and navigate the Whova app, please visit https://whova.com/pages/whova-app-user-guide/

Access to the conference materials will be available until July 1, 2024.

If you are purchasing tickets for several people, you will have the ability to manage your attendees. Please see your registration confirmation email for details.  

Registration is open until February 16, 2024 or until the conference reaches capacity.

We do not offer a group discount; we do, however, offer a discount to attendees from schools with active training or subscription packages. You can check on your school’s subscription or training package status by emailing rulersubscription@yale.edu. Learn more about subscribing here

We do not provide refunds. You may request to transfer your ticket to another RULER-trained attendee by March 1, 2024 by emailing rulerconference@yale.edu. Requests made after March 1, 2024 are not eligible for transfer. When you purchase your ticket, you agree to these terms.

A certificate of participation will be sent to attendees after the event via email. The certificate will also be available for download via Whova after the event. Please email additional questions or concerns to rulerconference@yale.edu.

A confirmation email with receipt will be sent upon registration. If you are unable to locate this, please email rulerconference@yale.edu 

Virtual Conference FAQs
